Box??????

a speaker wont perform if it doesnt have the right box. i know this at least so

i was wondering what you guys recomend for a trunk. Band pass(which i heard is just for show)

ported or enclosure. from what i hear enclosure will perform best for bass. any thoughts????

enclosure is called sealed. dont use bandpass, they sound horrible and are uber-gay,

plus the most difficult to build.

sealed boxes:

PROS: are easiest to build, best response from subs, widest frquency range, best SQ

CONS: needs more power to hit harder in comparison to ported, doesnt hit "as hard"

ported:

PROS: gets louder, needs less power to get louder

CONS: little harder to make, SQ is lost, little less frequency range than sealed.

bandpass:

ya thanx ithink ill build a sealed im new so ported is a little up there in

calculations and figuring out that sort of stuff,, ya i dont think anyone likes band pass...

I ran 2 10's in a bandpass box for about....2 songs..lol.
