Box verification por favor?

Alright, 2.4cu after displacement (actually its like 2.37ish to be exact) tuned to 32hz for the almighty '05 Type R 12. Internal measurements are 14 x 16.5 x 17.95. I am using a 3" round x 5.4" long port. Now if WinISD is acurate, then this should be perfect (port "mach" was right on target acording to them (0.16).) Could someone double check my work though just be safe? Also, when I read that the port cannot be within 3" of any wall, does this mean 3"from the sides? or 3" from the bottom? or both? Thanks.

Completely wrong.

your box = 2.20ft^3 tuned to 33.77hz. The port's surface area is 7.07 square inches WTF You need at least 24 square inches of port area. Your port will construct airflow and cause port noise. You might as well glue a harmonica to the box.

Moe is correct 2 4" ports will be needed to achieve the minimal port surface area...

Well no. You have to enter the correct box size first which is 2.20 after displacment.

And you must have missed my whole point. The port is to small. Not enough surface area. It NEEDS at least 24 square inches. Your only giving it 7.07...

First off, chill with the attitude. There's no need to treat me like a moron for going by guidelines a ****ing computer program gave me.

Anyways, I altered the depth of the box by 1/2" to give me 2.47cuft before displacement. Do I need more than that?

Your box is fine. Once again YOUR PORT IS TO SMALL...

I only treat you like a moron because you continue to ignore the problem and talk about nothing...

2 round ports, 4" in diameter each. the length you will have to figure out, but youve got a calculator so it shouldnt be a problem. you also have to factor in port and driver displacement.
