Box Tuning help

hey guys

I just have a quick question about changing the tuning of my box. right now it is tuned up a bit high i think.

46Hrz is the loudest note to the ear

once i go below 40 Hrz I lose quite a bit of output. it is still loud but the drop in output is drastic. once i get to the low 30's it starts to unload,

If i just lengthen the port a few inches that should lower my tuning right??

current box specs

57"wx18hx20d

box is devided into two chambers (good or bad idea)??

ports are

16"w x 3"H x 13 1/2 D

when i build this box i think i just got lucky. I just tossed in a port so i dont even know what it is tuned to. any info on what the current tuning is and how i can lower it would be greatly appriciated.
