box tuned to 32 hz?

i have two xfl 12s and audiopipe 1000 ds on each on and the box that i have now the drops are hard but

i want it lower though

so i just wanted to know if i get a box tuned to 32 hz will i still get those good hard hitting drops or will it just be more shaking than anything?

I have ~2k on a pair of XFLs tuned at 33hz IN A TRUNK and have plenty of lows. I can hit down to about 25hz with authority and shake the dash.

Honestly, other than the enclosure - proper electrical, install, and power is your best friend when going for lows.

It still hits hard. Your ears don't pick up the frequencies as well so they may seem a little quieter, but you can definitely feel the pressure.

a quality amp. they will hit the lows but they dont sound the same as other high quality amps. less woofer control

I had an AP amp and had no problem playing in the low 20s being tuned at 34 hz

Have the subs 3" from your head, and swap in a class AB 2 channel and you can hear the difference.
