My box is 30x13.75x15 and used 5/8 baltic birch. So the whole box itself is 4941.4 cubic inches then i subtract the port wood used for the port which is 3.375x12.5x24 (port itself is 2.75 inches wide). When i subtract the two I then get 2.27 cubic feet. Is this too big for an sa-12?

If so is there anyway I can make the box smaller easily? thanks!

Alright cool I already Have 6 triangle wedges bracing but I def Will put more in now! Yeah I used 5/8 baltic so save some weight. Had 2 kicker cvrs in a 3/4 mdf box but it just weighed my civic si down way to much.

Thanks for helping!

As RAM said, the tuning will change when you alter the air space. I would just play with it and see. It is a bit large for a SA sub, but it may very well do what you want it to do.

if i remember they like 1.75 cubes......u could always add some bracing to the box to help take some space away but i think u will be fine....just dont over power

X2

Mine is in 1.73 after all displacement. Gets loud as fock on 1000w
