Box to get the most out of 2 SA8's

in a single cab s10, sub forward behind driver port to the side, behind passenger, .7cu/ft tuned to 37hz 12"^2 of port, is loudest @ 32hz. It's only a slight peak but it sounds really good. I've got -1db @32hz on my eq to get a somewhat flatter response.

Would a bigger cab get you lower? These things dont need much space. I gave it all i had(space wise) and am pleased, although i wish i could of done a little bigger tuned lower.

Well I started a box today to try out.

Heres a quick crappy pic of one sitting next to my old RE SX 12"

Its sounding pretty good though. Nice tight bass with enough low end. I would like it to get a little lower but that may come with a new box design in the future.

How are you liking the overall output? I still have yet to drop in my pair, looking forward to it though. I've already gotten some nasty low end out of one.

After listening to them more today I must say I am very impressed. Great sound quality with this box also.

Will do. Give me till tomorrow though. I'm on my phone right now. If you want PM me your number and I can text you a pic of the specs. I ended up using the RE box calc. tool. It has served me well in the past and did again this time. Just had to fudge the numbers to get the box in the shape I needed for the location and how I mounted the subs and wanted the port.

Yea I think it was just the songs I was listening to. After playing a few others on the way home, they do get low
