box specs for 2 12" type r's?

my friend just got 2 12" type r's an alpines box specs are 1.75 per sub ported. i think thats a lil on the small side. do u guys think they'd do good an last a long time in a 5 cube box tuned to 34hz. also it'll be on a aq1200d amp.

i had two r's on a aq1200d as my first setup. i did 4.5cubes to 32hz.

in ur sig. You should have used 3/4 inch MDF, .75 inch will not hold two type r's. haha very funny!!

but forsure thanks. i was thinkin 38 was to hi. i think 34 would be good.
