You trying to keep it in the hatch or folding the seats down perma like mine? I can take some measurements for ya tom. as I will be installing all my new gear after it arrives (hopefully early tom.)

ya no problem, I might even end up doing it earlier then I 1st thought, it'll give me something to do to keep busy while I wait for fedex to show up. I am impatient as hell so having something to do will actually help me out too.

ok finally got a chance to measure for you. the narrowest part across the trunk is 36" across leaving a half inch or so to spare, but really 36" is what you'll want. If you plan to keep it low enough to hide the box with that rear shelf thingy (I even forget what it looks lie or is called as I made mine a 2 seater the day I bought it, but I digress) then the height is 13"'s however you can go much higher then that if you want. If you need that measurement of max height I can check it for you. I tried to take a depth measurement but my huge enclosure made it a little hard so I def. could not put the seats up to get a perfect measurement but I got 24" depth. Its def. not less then this and likely more but to be safe I am calling it 24". Hope this helps and good luck with your build. Post some pics after completion or of the build if you would be so kind.

thanks so much bro! just curious, is there room under seats or anywhere else to put two or atelast one large c&d batt? i can put em in the trunk but thats a shitton of space to use

the width I gave you leaves alot of space on each side of the enclosure to put a batt + more.

Here's a pic of my old set up, as you can see minus the amp the battery (in this case a soundstream scell-1000) fits in nicely. The wheel well is very shallow on these cars, so unless you have a narrow battery and lay it on its side its not happening. The only way to even get amps in there is to remove the spare tire or one of the hard foam holder things on each side of the spare tire. These however provide support for the trunk floor so if you remove one be sure to add in a few smartly cut pieces of wood to add strength esp. since your enclosure and battery will be on top of it, I guess thats not an absolute, you could get away without doing it but I wouldn't suggest it. Almost forgot to post the pic, so here it is:
