How do you determine box rise? And what is the best way to prevent or decrease it as much as possible?
In terms of DC resistance, not AC impedance....well that causes a little rise as well...
This x1000. If your playing music it's really a non-issue. Impedence will be all over the place no matter what you do. If your only burping at a single tone then you can worry about it, other than that it's a waste of time to worry about it.If you aren't competing it's not an issue to worry about. Every note offers difference amounts of rise depending on the enclosure and music is definitely all over the place. Otherwise, a smaller enclosure and tuning 3-4 frequencies down from the note you intend to burp at would be your best bet to fight impedance rise.
Lol, that's not what he's talking about I don't believe. He's talking about impedance rise (ohms).what do you mean like warped boards ? or just a cheaply made box ?? cause i never seen a box rise before . maybe the seals on the box isn't very good i used construction grade caulking on my box along with screws and wood glue
