-Box Riddle- What's Loudest In Sealed Trunk?

Would building a new box with the subs and port facing up towards the trunk lid help any?

tune it to like 36 for those kickers, tuning low wont make you louder. also you should make some 4" port holes in your rear deck to allow the bass to enter your cab, that should help.

perfectly said.. you'll need to let out some of that trunk pressure...

of if you have a flip down armrest in the back, you can try cutting behind that area as well.

Unbolt the seats and have them leaning and throw away any insulation (or use it as a mat)

To do: push back on the "as$" part of the seat and lift, it should come out and expose the bolt that hold the seat back on. Unbolt the seat backs and remove insulation. Have the seat back lean against the back and but the "as$" part in properly. (Push in and down from an angle)

This ,in addition, to removing the 6x9s should allow much more air/bass inside the vehicle.

Easier said than done... I can't get the back of the seat off for my life... I even broke the most powerful corded drill we had... Smoke was pourin out of it... Torque wrench, everything I could think of... It's not movin... So therefore I'm just takin out the 6x9s...

On top of me not being able to do it... It still is pretty ghetto... I'll just stick with the missing 6x9's... Depends on my p6.2 comps for the mids and highs...

Agreed, We did this to a customers impala back in 1995 with 4 15" solobarics the old round ones sealed. Anyway dynomatted the rear deck and let it ride with two son of collossus gen x amps. It did 152 at the wind shield it was pretty sick! Ported should be awsome!

Sweet... That's good to hear... Just waitin on my amp to come back now... And yeah, I've seen that car before... If I wasn't so scared to mess up, I'd port mine like that too...
