box question

im building somewhat of a showbox for my girls car. I work at a sign shop and get all kinds of good materials. If i use 1/4" clear acrylic as a port wall would this cause a problem? What im doing is putting purple mirror on the entire inside of the box and i dont want a mdf chunk of port wall blocking everything lol

do u really think it will flex that much?? its only going to be 15" H x 10.5" D

Well jag . answer this question. have you ever tried to flex a piece of MDF as hard as you can that is maybe 14"x28X . Be HARD to flex. but in an enclosure it WILL flex without proper bracing. Now take that size piece of 1/4" acrylic. if you can move it more than I would guess 1/8" bend with a good amount of strength then WAY to thin. Personally I would say min. do double thick 1/4
