for some reason i think i got hustled w/ this box. i been looking around here alot and i've seen some of the members boxes, one i saw was a single 15" and the box was like 3.5 cubes or somethin, but it made mine look tiny... the dude that built it told me it was 3.148 @ 34hz. which is more or less what the woofer calls for..

heres the specs: 20.75" wide, 17" deep, 17.5" tall.. the port is 1.75" x 16"

what is the real size of my box? woofer displacement is 0.13

i dunno the formulas or w/e but im thinking its closer to 2 cubes, and if thats the case would i be better off just sealing up the port and running it sealed? optimum sealed volume for the sub is 1.75.

how long is the port? its less than 2.5 cubes probably.
i got around 2.75 cf before port and sub displacement

and assuming his port is round, it would come out to be around 2.5

i wouldnt really plug up a port, and i wouldnt waste a 15" sealed, but if you have the extra room, make the box bigger, and tune appropiately
