Polk DB124's??

Some guy working at circuit city told me that the 2 12" polk DB124's they had would hit 3 times harder than my L7's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif . Does anyone know what this guy is talking about? When he told me this I told him he knew nothing about car audio and walked out.
