Box question

I just bought a 12 inch RE SX and im building a box for it. The RE site say 2 cubes @33hz, but i see box for these much bigger all the time, somebody wanna throw up some IDEAL box dimensions for me with the port length to make this preform as well as it can. thnx

My box for my 12" SX is in 3cubes ported at 35hz and boy does it sound great. Nice deep and low. Moe lester has a plan for the box it is a very long box which makes it look huge=

What are the benifits of feversing your subs and why would you do this?

the only benefit is that you wont loose any internal enclosure volume to the baske/magnet structure.

some people like to show off theyre baskets and magnets so they reverse the sub.

but there is no real benefit. that would make me consider reversing a sub.

if you do reverce the sub, now you have to make sure you have enogh depth in the trunk or where ever to clear that part of the sub too.
