Oh and another question...

In my buddies camaro he has very limited space in his hatch. 14" deep would probably be cutting it, so we were wondering if we could just go 13" external box dimensions, minus the 1.5" for the 2 sides of the MDF - leaving 12.5". The cutout diameter needs to be 11", leaving around .75" on each side of the hole. Would this be fine, or would we run into splitting problems? Thanks
