box/power recomendations on OZ elites

Just picked up some 10" Oz audio matrix elites, planning on putting them in a 2.5 cube box tuned to 32hz, anyone have any thoughts on how much power i should put to them? RMS i believe is 700 a piece and i was planning on doing 1000 to the pair.

They seem to like a little more than that if you could get 3.5-4cu they would sound a lot better. I am running 2 12's now in 6 cubes w 500w each and they sound incredible. I think 32 is a little low on tuning , I've tried anywhere from 27-42 and they sound best around 35-38. Just make sure you have at least 10sq in of port per cube or they will sound like crap. They dont unload below the port tuning as bad as some other subs and at 35 i can still play to 26-27 with no problem at all. If you are looking for more sq but still want them loud put them in 1 cube sealed with about 1000w ea to them and you will love them. They seem to really come alive with 1k or more going to them.
