Box Porting

Firstly Hi to everyone this is my first post. Ok basically i have a 4CuFt box for my Rockford Fosgate Power HX2's. Can anyone tell me how big the port would need to be to tune it to 35hz? i have asked on several other forums and dont seem to be getting anywhere.

First off welcome to the post. What kind of port are you doing round or square?

square, well actaully it will be a rectangle

just measured up the hole and its 37.6cm x 11.6 cm obviously i can make this larger/smaller if i need to

ok took a look at them. so would i be right in thinking that because the whole i have in my box has twice the surface area the port length would need to be half as long?
