Box/Port Help

Alright this a bit of a weird deal here

I'm building, or I should say modifying a box to fit 2 8's.

the box looks like this

8898box.jpg

It goes under the seat of my 94 Silverado Ext Cab. I need 1.5-1.75 cubic ft for a ported box on these 8s. This box is .86 per chamber which works out nicely.

I took the sub plate off, and made a new plate to house the 8's.

K now that you know what I'm doing.... HERE IS MY QUESTION

Can I drill 2 holes in the front (1 in each chamber) run 3" ports out the front then put a 90 in to fire them up?

According to my calculations at .86 cubic ft, tuned to 36hz with a 3" round port I need 14.896" of port length.

Can anyone please tell me if this will work?
