i have a 2 12's slot port box where the port fires out the side tuned to 33hertz ,i never dealt with these kinda of boxes are they good or what . 2 xfl 12's on a 120.1 is whats going in it

Sure, side firing ports are actually pretty common.

And disregard what weffy said, as a 6th order can utilize side firing ports as well..

On the same note, if you don't have much experience with enclosure building, a 6th order would be the last thing you want to pursue. i agree about the 6th order bpe....last thing you want to do. you said the box is tuned without subs in it at that rating?
