well again...If that 22.5 is the external height...subtract the 1.5 inches for wood. That gives you a 21" tall port. Making the port area 63"^2

now im just pissed off and dont even give a shit, ive spent the last 3 days after work rebuilding my old box so that it will have more bracing, i spent the last of the money i had saved today on carpet and other little stuff for the box and..............................

and on a happier note. If you dont like that box. I SHOULD...hopefully be coming to DFW here in a few weeks. And me, djman, jntar, and magicman, could probably help you get a nice box together.

I really dont see how you can be "out of money" when a box costs no more than 30 bucks to build, Im sure you could turn a trick or 2 and make that much

2 sheets of mdf = 40 bux also need more screws.

my new job cut my hours after promising me X number of hours which is why i quit my old job.

im just going to take the bracing out of the port tomorrow, if that fixes it good, if not ill be chunking the box and probably be getting out of car audio....

the box sounded fine to me before, and i fixed alot of the problems i had with the old with this one, now i just have other problems.
