Ok my friend is telling me 14 cubes is wayyy to big for 4 12" L7s and it will sound like ***. What size box should I build for these things? I want it tuned to 40hz as well...

That is actually right in there recommendations for an SPL box from kicker in the manual...and i prefer to tune all of my boxes to around 30hz unless it is an SPL box.

That is a fine amount of space for 4 12 L7's. Kicker reccomends a 3.25 cubie box for one L7. So if you have 4 L7's, then that would come out to be 13 cubes. Works out fine to me

im doing 7.8cuft for 2 L715's for a street/comp setup at 36hz
