ok so let me start it here.....i have a DC AUDIO LVL 2 "15"...im powering it with a 1000 watt crunch amp....so i had this woofa lets say about 3-4 weeks now...and since i had it i kept my bass knob gain half....so today when i was on my way to the store i finally decided turn the bass knob full tilt and and played my system full tilt...then when i was getting back home i heard the wood slapping eachother...so finally i got home and checked my box and my box is ****ed up...the top side of the box came loose...i screwed it and glued it also....any ideas on how to fix this?...i was thinking on fiber glassing it....to make it stronger...would it help?..

EDIT:..sorry for the long story...i tryed my best to making it short...

firstly.. consider yourself lucky you didn't kill your woofer.. secondly you have any braces inside of it?
yea i know im lucky..im way overpowering my sub....and no i dont have braces...this is my first box i build...i just glued it and screwed it....the box is tuned to 30hz

Build a new box. Use a copious amount of wood glue. If the glue doesn't spread out of both sides when you screw it / clamp it, then you didn't put enough. And make sure you brace it well. Really well.

And turn your bass gain off. That ish is retarded. You're ruining a good driver.

Glue pieces of wood to the sides, or across. Many people use 2x4's or wooden dowels.
