Box for XXX?

what size box and tuning do u reccommend? im thinking 5 cu ft to 30-32 hz

but on REs site they say 4, but they alaways show them in smaller boxes dont they

My friend has a XXX 15 in a 4..25 cube box tuned to 35hz with 60 square of port and it slams period. It still has very good sound quallity. Before hearing his XXX I was not impressed with them in terms of SPL. After heearing his I am going to buy one.

going with a bigger box in my expirience has always been a good thing. i would do around 120in^2 + port for spl and around 80-100in ^2 port for sql.

what do you mean? what kind of box were others in

4.5 cubes @ 35 Hz.... 75-100in^2 of port area, with the XBL^2 motor it would still have dam good SQ but should get really loud.
