The Bazookas or the Alpines

seriously?! I heard the P. Millers are better.... and they're more expensive in stores. They're also 12s so they're bigger than the alpines.

The alpines are only Type-S not Type-R

Would the alpines pump as hard cause they're smaller?

You'll learn pretty quickly here that size doesn't matter. You could have an 18" Sony Xplod and it wouldn't even come close to being on the same playing field as a RE XXX 10". If you can, get the Type-Rs. If not, stay with the Type-S.

OK thanks for the advice... i guess i'll go with the Type-S 10s

I just thought the 10s wouldnt bump as hard as the 12s... but they will right?

You mention price in stores. You do know that you could more than likely get a pair of Type R 12"s for the price of a pair of Type S 10"s if you shop online?

Anyway, Alpine over Bazooka, 100%

so if you can get 2 for 60 then why did you even think of getting those bazookas?

for that price you should get 4 and have 4 10's in your car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

get a pair of typer 12's

you wont regret the little extre you spend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

never compare alpine to shitzooka again.

lol relax buddy... i'm new to car audio, thats why i asked the question. You gotta start somewhere

I thought since they were endorsed by P. Miller that they might be aright and they were bigger so i thought they'd bang harder. I know Alpine is a better company, but the P Millers are more expensive than the Type-Ss in stores

Thanks for the help caraudio peeps, i woulda made a mistake if i didnt ask

What would be the best Amp to run with 2 Type-S 10s? I want them to sound the best they can

Thanks

General rule of thumb - if subs are endorced by someone, they probally ****. P Millers - ****. Warren Gs - ****. As for size, you'll learn pretty quick that size doesn't matter. I could easily find you a 10" sub that would destroy 2 15"s in every aspect of car audio. Moving on to price. The more expensive the sub, the better they must be, right? Wrong. That's what online stores and internet companies are here for. Equal or superior products for a fraction of the price.
