this is another box i designed that i plan on building. i also talked to 80 inches about putting together a bandpass. and i also plan on building a box to dd specs. i hope to have each of them metered to see what is the loudest. and ill keep whichever i like most.

more than satisfied with how everything came out. i used two older left over mdf sheets which causes some problems for me. but not too concerned because like i said im doin a few more boxes. whichever i like the most will be redone with something lighter than mdf.

Is that going to be a tapered transmission line? I can't tell from your ghetto dry fit or from the angle of the sketch. The height of that back piece looks really off. I hope you plan on doing something about that.

If that's a tapered TL, what is it tuned to? The line doesn't look very long, maybe 2.5 meters. That's a tune close to 34hz if I am assuming correctly...

EDIT: New pictures make it appear to be non tapered and the length looks shorter than what I estimated. Let us know how it sounds.

panel height looked off because some of the pieces were leaning to keep them standing up. according to ttb its a tline/bassreflex the length of the line goin down the center would be about 60 inches. i have no clues what that puts the tuning at.

I built a similiar box designed by them for a dayton titanic 10, it had a compression chamber designed into the line/box though. It sounded awesome, got down super low for a 10 but still played nice and tight up top.

Hopefully you get some good results. It may have been because of the compression chamber but that 10 was very well controlled in that box, it easily could have taken alot more than its rated power mechanically.
