Box For Shivas

Definetly do not go bandpass. Stick with either sealed or ported. 1.25cu.ft seems to be common for a single Shiva in a sealed enclosure. I personally would probably go a bit bigger.

For not going bandpass? Do a search if you dont believe me...

With a bandpass box you wont maintain the sound quality of that from a sealed or ported box. Bandpass boxes have very limited frequency ranges, also.

First off, they have limited frequency response. Also, bandpass boxes have to be built perfectly to the subs specs in every single aspects for them to sound good. Pre-fab bandpass boxes will not sound good, they will sound very very bad actually......if youre going to buy a box, go sealed, or build your own sealed/ported box
