I am going to be helping a friend build a box for his MA Audio D6 15" woofer. I know it's not the greatest woofer, but it's all he has.
I looked on MA Audio's site and noticed the recommended 4.5 cubic feet with 37 square inches of port 14.5 inches long.
Does that sound good to you guys? Also, what would happen if I made the box 4.5 cubes (after displacement) but the port was 36.25 square inches instead of 37? Does the tuning go up/down?? How else will it affect the sound?
Thanks for your help.
