Ok so my son has a mustang. Right now he has two IDQv3 10s in a sealed box.

He just bought two SA10s and wants me to build him a box. I have never owned a trunked car so i have no clue.

Sub placement

top firing, facing rear or toward cabin.

Port placement

top, facing rear, facing side or toward cabin.

Seats do not fold down, no center cutout.

Looking to do a slot port.

Runing SAZ1000

He listens to country (******* rednecks). and some bass songs.

This will be a daily driver.

if the seats fold down ( I hope so lol) then I would try subs forward port forward if it will fit... otherwise you could do subs forward port side. Try 2.5-3 cu ft tuned to 33-38 ish or so. Keep the port area to about 14-15 sq inches per cu ft. Ive found that the sa's really like that, at least they do with my tahoe.

I owned a stang, do u want spl or overall sq+spl. If huge wants sq id do a box with subs facing rear and port down, assuming its been deadened. Or id. do them. Front port facing side. Don't face port to trunk lid it will sound like a rhino fart:fro:
