I'm about to build a box and read on another thread that u can gain some output by using a single chamber for 2 subs. Is this true? I'm gonna run a pair of vvme 12s. I know what size and tuning I'm using. It will be 4cubes tuned tto 35hz. If I use a single chamber should I still use 2-4" ports like I would if the subs were in separate chambers? And will a 2x2 be good enough for a brace? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

If you blow one sub in a common chamber, you will be more likely to damage the other one as well. Not an issue with separate chambers. It is often louder to use a common chamber however.
