Box for 6X9 speakers ?

Walmart sells prefabricated 6x9 enclosures for like 10 bucks or something...all you have to do is glue it together

i dont see the point of boxes for reg speakers.... correct me if im wrong but a sealed environment as opposed to free air does nothing it the way of better sq/loudness right the only way i would use boxes is if i wanted to have a diff size speaker then my car could fit in its mounts...

you're wrong.

why do you think people sound dampen their doors? to create a more sealed atmosphere for the speakers to play in. (and more, but that is one of the reasons)
