i emailed jl and this is what they told me, i was kinda wanting one port in the middle and i told him that but hey maybe he's retarded. does anybody think i need more port area or bigger/smaller box?

If that is what JL recomends then use it. or get the woofer spec and room availible in what car and go to a custom shop.

you can put port in middle, i would make it 3" wide and then turn each side 1 1/2 from back wall like sample.
