I have 46w, 20h, 22d. it looks like I can do 8 cubes(4 each) tuned @32 hz. It's going in a Suv. subs facing up and port facing back? also should the box be fine for the subs. and last question I have is does it matter if there is a L port our can I have just a straight baffle and not a L coming off of it?

4 cubes per sub after displacement will work. You could even go a tad big if you wanted a nice and flat response for daily. Subs up and port back tends to work the best in SUV's. There doesn't have to be a "L" or bend in the port for it to work properly.
