box for 2 15" type R's??

hey,

im planning on getting 2 15" alpine type R's but im pretty new to the whole car audio scene so i have no idea what type of box would be good for this setup. I know i want a ported box but i really dont understand the whole cubic feet and hertz thing. If you guys could help me out and guide me in the right direction by giving me some recommendations i would appreciate it. btw my trunk is limited to 40"w and 19"h. thanks alot

thanks that helps, but im still not too clear on the what the right size or hertz for this setup. if you could give me like an idea of what would be good it would help alot

how much power you giving them? what kinda music you listen too? are you after spl, sq or both?

im gonna be giving them about 800 watts each, i listen to mostly rap/hip hop, im after mostly spl but i dont wanna sacrifice too much sq.

best thing to do is search the forums and see what people have had success with. i'll guess and say something abou 6-7 cubes net tuned to 34-37 hz. should do the trick
