Box for 2 15" AQ sdc's

K so I'm brainstorming some ideas of a box for 2 15" AQ sdc's. Would 10 cubes be an overkill? I don't really have to much room to work with so if I can cut down the volume it would be nice, but not really looking to sacrifice it if it is gonna make a big difference in the sound.

So what would be an ideal volume for two of these bad boys?

Also; where would be a good place to put the port? Was thinking in the middle of the two subs or underneath both of them.

What vehicle is it going in and what power are you using with them?

2 door, I have 670rms @ 2 ohms, so split between the two about 335rms. But I will be upgrading amp in a bit to give em more power.

I will be taking out the passenger seat and replacing it with the box probably, unless I can find a way to fit it in the trunk but that would take some serious box building skills and a lot of cuts because my trunk has a big screw coming down which only allows 13" vertical clearance and it is right in the middle of the trunk.

I'd do 8-9 cubes tuned to 34, and probably do 2 6" aeros if you're concerned about space.

Why the aeros though? And where would I get these, are they all pretty much the same lengths?

what car exactly? Any pics of the area you have to use..trunk wise?

I did 10 cubes at 35 and they are nuts, anywhere from 8 to 10 cubes should work great.

Aeros are great if you are looking to minimize space as you dont need as much surface port area, therefore the ports can be shorter as well.

Any difference in sound quality or performance that is audible for the aeros vs a port?
