Box for 2-15 MA Audio 1500Xl's

Have 2 15 ma1500xl powered by a trx2000d amp. Right now they are in a sealed 4f cubic ft. box. Doesn't really sound good though. What should I put these in than. Never heard 15's in a vented box, what is the difference in sound?

vented = loudar. i bet they'd like a vented box moar.

how big do you think it should be and at what frequency should they be tuned around roughly?

3.5 cubic feet per sub/7 cubes all together. tuned to 40hz on paper, which once in your car will be around 32-35hz.
