box for 2 12" HDC3's

Ordered 2 12" hdc3's and planning on getting an amp around 2500w at 1ohm for them. I have a ford explorer so box size is not an issue, but I do want it slot vented, both subs and vent facing to the rear, building the box is no problem but i have no idea on measurments when it comes to the vent spacing and that backboard inside. Five cu ft should be good. Can anyone sketch me a design with measurements or somthing?, Thanks! sq is always good but I love it when its so loud that its hard to breath and feels like a fan is blowing behind you haha

40 hz? or 38hz? How much port space? 80-90 sq in of port? Im assuming subs up port back?

Ask DJ. Shoot him an email sales@audioque.com

Tell him you got 2 12" HDC3's. Tell him your max dimensions.

He'll prob suggest something in the ballpark of 4-4.5ft^3 after all displacements and give you a 38Hz or so tune.

Why? Subs up port back is typically louder.

True i do see that alot in SUV's, I just dont kno what it looks like inside the box or what the whole vent design is

should have gone with 15's if size of enclosure isn't an issue.
