Box for 15 DD subs

be sure to tune the box to 40hz and build it after DD specs. they know what they say. i tried other tunings but 40hz is the way to go, even the lower end output will be better than with a 35hz tuning!

3.5 - 4 cubes each 9515 is OK.

ok so it says "15"(3.0-4.5)" so if I am correct 2 by 2 by 3.5=14 sq ft. Now I could be wrong becuz i **** at math but that would be ample amount of room then since 1 15 inch requires three to four and half sq feet so naturally 2 15 inch woofers would need six to nine sq ft. Correct?

allright time for my input ont he 9515f's.

depends on what you're going for,

if you want SPL....give each one about 3-4 cubes after displacement each.

if you want some big boom, 5-6 cubes after displacement...

and if you want just insanely low crap, 6-7 cubes.

buuuuut....if you go for 6-7 cubes dont throw more than 2kw to each one because they wont last long in a box that size with that power...

personally i enjoy 5 cubes after displacement per sub, which is what mine are in now, peaking @ 35hz...its loud, and plays as low as i want it to with no problems. how much power do you plan on givin?

I was planning on giving each sub at least 2000 watts a piece iff not more. Becuz the Rms is 1500 and peak around 6000 so I was actually thinking about giving more around the range of 3000 to 5000 per sub iff I end up having the money for it. What amps would you guys recommend for this type of output?
