Box for 12 inch FI Q

Hey guys Im lookin to get a ported box for my FI Q 12 inch sub and I have a limit in that the box can't be over 16 inches tall. It will be going in to the trunk of my 04 STi. I don't feel like makin the box myself because I have never made one and I heard ported boxes are complicated. Anyways does anyone have any good suggestions on where I could get a custom box for a reasonable price.

What do you like better? Sealed is more of a plug and play setup.Ported has to be well thought out to gain real benefits.Whatever you do don't get a prefab ported box

I want a ported box. Ive had sealed boxes in the past and now I want to go ported. Do you think I would be able to make a ported box for my first box?

Give it a try, man. If you've built a few boxes in the past, then I'm sure you can managed a ported no problem. Hell, it's just following some plans then if you have all the construction know-how under your belt.

If this is your first box, maybe just get a buddy or someone that's into construction or is good with their hands to help you. Hell, THIS is my fist box that I'm gonna be building...

For a, believe it or not, 12" Fi Q. 2 cubes tuned to 32hz after all displacements.

But you don't want the plans for this if you can fit a square box, that's be a lot easier.
