Box for 10" with an aero port

I'm gonna build a box about 1.2cubes for 1 10" on about 800-900watts. Will a 3" aero port be best for this size Box and how would I go about calculating port displacement and length if the ports is half in the box half out?

i suggest a single 4" aero if you have the room, is that possible?
