Hi I’m looking for a design for a 97 Chevy 1500 extended cab. Was looking at running 4 12s or 2 18s

i have 10.6 cubic feet. Have to remeasure but around

was looking at American bass  xr

do you know any subs around that 200 a sub price that’ll be louder

wont be a spl vehicle just a ground pounder daily

im looking at tuning around 26hz

two Orion 1500.1dz are the subbamps

No way in hell your gonna fit 2 18's in that airspace given. What vehicle is it, specificly?

Maybe two nice 15's would be better. Two XFL15's or HD15's. The pair of XFL's would be around $400 and the HD's would be around $600. I think it would get down pretty good. The HD's might be underpowered a little. I'm running one HD15 with a 3K Taramps.

Uh, why couldn't he? With (2) 8" aeroports it comes out to around 10 cubes and 100 inches of port area @ 35hz after displacement. That's ideal for (2) 18's, the box could be slightly bigger but nothings wrong with running 10 cubes. Some companies like DC actually say 5-6 cubes is ideal for their 18's.

Infact my buddys running (2) SQ HDC3 18's in a 9ft^3 box with 175 inches of slot port tuned to 35-38hz and hes hitting a 150 on a 4500 @ 1 ohm.
