Hello, I'm just taking the time to clarify with you guys that this box design will work, or anything that should be changed. First, some information on the setup.
Vehicle: 2000 Infiniti G20
Subs: x2 Sundown SA 15s
I'm building my own ported enclosure for this system, I already have all the tools to do so, I'm almost ready to buy the materials and begin. The box dimensions (the whole box, not inside) are:
Height: 18 in
Length: 40 in
Depth: 22 in
7.54 ft^3
For the port dimensions I was recommended to do:
Height: 16.5 in
Width: 5.5 in
Length: 20 in (is this how deep it is?)
I'm building it with 3/4 MDF. The subs and port are facing outward, and not upward.
1. Do these size dimensions all sound/look good?
2. Do I need some form of support inside the box?
3. Should I face the port toward my trunk, or toward the hole that connects my trunk and back of car?
