Box Coming Apart, Way to solve?

I recently noticed my box is splitting and coming apart on the corners were the top connects to the sides. I am going to get another box built because the port could be in a better spot. What want to know is, Tilting the box on its corners and letting fiberglass resin harden there stop this from happening? And if it will do i have to use the hair to keep that from cracking? I have seen a couple people do this but haven't seen many details about it.
