Box Carpet questoin

So i just finished making my box last night with a friend of mine, and next thing is to carpet it. What are some tips i should fallow to get the most out of it....

-Prep,products to by, steps to fallow?

Also i was looking around and i like how some people actually put a design within the carpet , i dont understand how it's does so if someone could give me the run down on that it would be greatly appreciated.

good video for noobs. Also If you want to do designs, its called raised vynil or raised carpet. Just simply get an extra peice of carpet or vynil and draw what ever design on it, get a sharp blade and cut it out. Stick that peice of of carpet or vynil design on designated spot. And wrap the box just like in the vid, make sure the edges of the design is saturated with glue. And when done wraping the box press down on the edges of the design.
