here's a poll to see what you do when your box build doesn't go as well as expected. enjoy folks and feel free to add horror stories. I know i have a few
the first and only time ive ever asked my g/f to help me lift a box into my truck (only did it to make her feel like she was helping, it wasnt that heavy)... we were about 5 feet from my truck and i hear "ow! ow! ow!"... the box was digging into her arm apparently from how she was carrying it and then she let it go and DROPPED IT ON HER FOOT! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifI almost dropped a box down 2 flights of steps, but never thrown one
ive seen somewhere measure out all their pieces late at night while very tired and wake up the next day and start cutting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. luckily it wasnt my box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. we had to use it for scraps and buy another sheet of mdf. it wasnt terrible, 1/4" max off, but that can be a huge problem still lolI've never really had a box go wrong..not to the point where it needs to be scrapped.
how can that be possible?
yeah, but you're not scrapping a completed, or even started box in that case.ive seen somewhere measure out all their pieces late at night while very tired and wake up the next day and start cutting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. luckily it wasnt my box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. we had to use it for scraps and buy another sheet of mdf. it wasnt terrible, 1/4" max off, but that can be a huge problem still lol
Ive done that, it was really busy at work one day, flew threw like 3 designs and one of the 3 just didnt add up or make sense. I saved it by cutting down some other pieces.ive seen somewhere measure out all their pieces late at night while very tired and wake up the next day and start cutting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. luckily it wasnt my box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. we had to use it for scraps and buy another sheet of mdf. it wasnt terrible, 1/4" max off, but that can be a huge problem still lol
