box building...wat tools??

i use:

a can of beans,

12 toothpicks,

67 feet of lightweight nylon string,

3.5 beer can tabs(you can drink the beer to get these)

playdough(any color)

coat hangar

3 noga's(for the nogahide)

and 1 half gallon of bacardi gold

 
ill actually be nice.
electric drill

circular or table saw for straight cuts (table saw is preferable)

jigsaw for circular cuts

caulking gun

screws

wood glue

silicone caulk

measuring tape and pencil
what he said, also nice to have a good straight edge and right angle. Router also has many uses with a jig and router you get perfect holes, and rings. Change the bit you got a rounded clean edge. If you carpet it, use spray adhesive, or contact cement. Remember it will adere instantly forever so do it right the first time. you can manipulate the spray adhesive easier then the contact cement. use a counter sinking pilot hol bit with your screw driver for quicker instal of your wood screws.... use screws rather then nails. For asthetics flush mount your subs by cutting out rings with the router use nylon material (similar to sub grill material) use resin and fiber glass. talking a whole new list of materials then. If you are leaving your box unfinished, try to atleast clean it up with a round over bit on the edges.
