Box Building help...

This is probably my most noob post yet as I have no idea about this, but I can't seem to find anything anywhere on the site about building boxes. I found one DIY site on subs and box building, but I couldn't quite understand the terms used since I'm just learning about this stuff. Anyway, can anyone help me out with how I should build my box? I have a 12" Powerbass dual voice coil 4ohm sub if that helps. It's the S-12D. Everyone talks about tuning and whatnot, but I have no idea what's involved in all of that. I do know I'm going with a sealed box and quality is more important than quantity of noise produced. Thanks again for all the help you guys have already given.
