Fi Q & BP Power?

I'm going to be ordering a 12" Fi Q Dual 2 ohm today. It's going to be ran in a 1-1.3ft^3 sealed box off of a Memphis 16-PRD1000.1 (1000WRMS @ 1 ohm). Is there any real advantage to the BP Power option? I never plan on giving this sub more than 1000WRMS or changing the install.

No, there is no need to.. if you read up on the BP option, he says its ideal for the guys running 1500-1800 watts to their Q's. Some have ran 1500 safely without the BP option.

It is a nice option to have if you plan on upgrading the amp.

Do the not reach full xmas off of 1000WRMS then?

Either way this option is not for me then, I do not plan on running more than 1000WRMS to this or any other sub in this car.
