id just take the panel foam put it to shape on the box and cerain rap that thing like no other. would be best bet, because its stiffer so it wont bend\smash\break easily.

man kinko's sucks!!!
Just called them after hearing your guys suggestions.. he said it can't just be cerran wrapped, and I can't make a box myself, it has to be a sturdy box because it may fall apart during shipping, and for insurance reasons.. blah blah blah blah SUCKS!!

Why not try UPS then?

Just called UPS store.. they said to make the box and package it, would run me about $40!!!! and shipping would be $140!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yea, UPS charges an arm and a leg to create boxes for shipment. Find some cardboard and do it yourself! It isn't that hard... "exacto" knife and packing tape.

I would, but Fedex made it sound like they won't accept a custom made box because it would be to flimsy.....

I can't believe its Fedex $40 to UPS $140!!!!

I think ill just try to make my own box, and just wrap the hell outta it in bubble wrap/cerran wrap, or Foam sheets/cerran wrap

I use fed ex and when I've shipped boxes in the past they have never complained id it was wrapped it plastic wrap.

hahaha... so where's the "packaging" under those newspapers?

edit" I think im going to use some egg cartons for the corners, tape em on, wrap it all in plastic wrap,a nd maybe a little bubble wrap, bring it to a DIFFERENT kinkos and see what happens.

for the record... Wrapping and wrapping and wrapping a box in cerran wrap, and tape, and bubble wrap DOES NOT FOCKING WORK!!!! ..... at least around here.

I have already been denied this method by both of the Kinko's in my area. The guy I talked to today said that it would get beaten to Sheit as it was, and the cerran wrap could rip, and get jammed in the conveyor, which would then be an instant $1,000,000 dollar lawsuit on Kinko's.... which he makes a good point... SO, now I am Focked...already accepted a payment for the box, Now I have to go through all this sheit or refunding money, and I just WASTED $15 on packaging materials

I buy double layer corrugated cardboard sheets that are 55" w x 100" l and make my own shipping cartons for enclosures and I cut foam blocking and glue that to the cardboard to cushion the enclosure.

I never had one complaint to date of an enclosure being delivered damaged and I use FEDEX to ship - screw UPS.
