Box Builders: Ever have just a bad day?

I kid you not, I wasted an entire 4 x 8 sheet of MDF today. I couldn't cut worth a shit. My hand wasn't steady, didn't have patience to begin with, and I think my square was bent. So I went out and bought ANOTHER 4 x 8 sheet of MDF, and a new square. Came home, took one cut off a scrap sheet to practice, and I just called it quits for the day. Usually whenever I build a box, I may have 1 or 2 bad cuts TOPS, but nothing like this before. I use a circular saw btw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Ridiculous.

I bought one of those clamp things, and it was too much of a PITA.

For the most part, I have the circular saw mastered. I can rip right through boards and be within 1/32" of an inch TOPS. But today, idk. I think I might buy a drywall T-Square next week, to help me out with getting everything nice and square.

i've done that before. has allways worked pretty good for me.

Ive wasted a piece or two (not a whole 4x8...but some) before by simply measuring to the wrong side of the blade on the table saw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif...but not much, but it really ticks you off when you make mistakes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

my favrite is when i measure from the 1" mark due to all the ends on my tape measurer's being loose, and forgetting to take up for that extra inch.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

table saw? all u have to do "if u have the space" go buy a desent table saw... build a 4" table on 3 sides of it and get a fence extention... u will have to measure the cuts with a tape measure instead of meaure ruler on the fence but makes cutting hella easy.. iv used the skill saw method.. 1/2" aluminum straight measure clamp measure like 12 more times then cut took forever

I had one of those the other day
