are you serious? have you seen the design? you would have to drop that thing off the empire state building to even make a dent in it... the key to kerfing is rebonding the cuts after you make the bend... they arent just left like that... u fill the gaps with a permiating bonding agent in this case wood glue). this actually makes the area being kerfed stronger than the wood around it. the mdf (trupan in this case) soaks up the glue with capillary action and when the glue dries makes the wood stronger than it was in its original state.
I know that you fill in the gaps in the kerf once done. I was jus saying thatd Id be hesitant to bend it too much an it snaps on me.
